Queens of the Stone Age Premiere Macabre 'I Appear Missing' Video

The eerie, mysterious rollout for Queens of the Stone Age's comeback album continues. Today, the band shared a video trailer for "I Appear Missing," a new cut from "…Like Clockwork," due May 4 on Matador.
The macabre vid features a bloody, bandaged man awakening in the desert and succumbing to a fate that
mirrors the song's grizzly lyrics. It features artwork from Boneface (who also worked the "…Like Clockwork" album cover) and animation from Liam Brazier. Though the video is only three minutes, the album version of "I Appear Missing" will be six minutes long.
Queens Of The Stone Age Share New Music, LP Due In June
30 seconds of the track were first teased Saturday night (technically early Sunday morning) via a commercial on Adult Swim.
It's the second sampling we've heard from the new LP, as fans first got a taste of lead single "My God Is the Sun" back in April.
The new album from Josh Homme and company features contributions from Trent Reznor, Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, and (drumroll!) Dave Grohl, who replaces Joey Castillo behind the kit. Also back on board are guitarist Mark Lanegan and bassist Nick Oliveri. One of the year's most highly anticipated rock
albums, it'll be the band's first studio album since 2007's "Era Vulgaris" and their sixth overall.
