Puddle of Mudd's Wes Scantlin Arrested for Domestic Abuse: Report
Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has reportedly been arrested on domestic abuse charges.
Officers then spoke with witnesses and the victim before arresting
Scantlin for domestic violence. Unnamed sources who spoke to TMZ said
Scantlin was “very mouthy” during the incident. Scantlin was taken into
custody with bail set at $20,000.
The rocker’s latest misdeed comes on the heels of his May 7 arrest for warrants stemming from a June 2012 guilty plea to cocaine possession.
Last September, he was arrested in Texas and charged after being
removed from a cross-country flight. On that occasion, he was charged
with public intoxication -- a Class C misdemeanor, similar to a parking
citation.
Back in March 2002,
when Puddle of Mudd was still in the afterglow of their biggest hit
album "Come Clean," Scantlin was arrested on domestic abuse charges.
Scantlin and the rest of the group released "re:(disc)overed," a covers album, in August 2011.
